Early Years Violin / Viola Specialist
Growing up in a large musical family, regular sing-a-longs and family concerts formed my early love for music. My mother taught me the piano whilst I eagerly waited to start learning the viola at age 8.
I went on to study viola at the Conservatorium of Music and the Victorian College of the Arts. Living on the Mornington Peninsula gave me many opportunities to teach music to all levels of students.
During this time I performed with orchestras playing various works, accompanying ballets and touring with an opera company. A highlight was performing with singing group Human Nature and children's entertainers Hi-5.
I have also enjoyed playing in various small ensembles including an Irish folk band but my true passion is teaching and inspiring young musicians.
